As a ship officer in the Navy he led high-tech divisions on advanced destroyers, as well as the campaign that won the Navy’s highest award for public affairs. As an investment banker at Citigroup he applied automation to the finance industry, and mapped each major automaker’s efforts in autonomy. As a congressional staffer he learned the inner workings of the U.S. government.  Mike joined DIU in December 2018.
