Guest Speaker: Mr. Dan Barkin who writes for Business North Carolina magazine.
Bio: Mr. Barkin has over 45 years as a reporter, journalist, and editor. He retired as managing editor of The News & Observer in Raleigh in 2018. He joined the newspaper in 1996, as business editor. Before that, he worked for the Baltimore Sun and the Norfolk Virginian-Pilot. He has a B.S. in business administration from Old Dominion University and an M.A. in journalism from the University of Maryland at College Park.
