Description: The Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Advance Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI) and Technological Expo at APG, MD, will not be held as an in-person event for 2020. We continue to explore opportunities for a virtual event in order to maximize government and industry partner engagement on June 9-11, 2020. At a minimum, all slide presentations and contract opportunities will be posted no later than June 1, 2020, as updates to this announcement.

The goal of the APG APBI is to provide industry with networking opportunities for both large and small businesses. The APBI will describe potential future contracting opportunities for mission areas that focus on: Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance; Research and Development; Test and Evaluation; Chemical and Biological Defense; and APG Garrison.

The APG APBI will identify potential contracting opportunities that are aligned with the roadmaps of each respective organization, specifically focusing on Fiscal Years 2021–2022. The APBI slides will be posted as updates to this announcement no later than 1 June 2020. The Government will not hear formal bids from industry, as the purpose of the APBI is for the Government to brief upcoming opportunities to industry to help it better understand Army capability requirements and shape its internal development efforts.

LOCATION: Online

REGISTRATION: The APG APBI will be unclassified and open to all interested contractors, large and small businesses, and academia, as well as other Government stakeholders. Additional information about registration requirements for any streamed briefings will be provided via update to this announcement.
