Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Industry Day (Free) 10 Sep in Chapel Hill

Raleigh, NC
Aug 27, 2019

Meet Research Partners. Submit Proposals Together.

The Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) is a program that expands funding opportunities in the federal innovation research and development (R&D) arena. The unique feature of the STTR program is the requirement for the small business to formally collaborate with a research institution. The Industry Day will provide an invaluable opportunity for team members from small businesses and research institutions to connect with each other; to seek partnerships and submit proposals together.

Attendance is free – you just have to travel to the event at the Friday Center, UNC, Chapel Hill

For each of the seven (7) special topics below, the Army anticipates funding three (3) STTR Phase I contracts to small businesses with their research institution partner. Phase I contracts are limited to a maximum of $166,500 over a period not to exceed three (3) months.

Additionally, the Army anticipates funding one (1) STTR Phase II for each of these seven (7) "special topics". Phase II contracts are limited to a maximum of $1,100,000 over a period between 6 and 18 months.
