Due Date: Respond by 29 Nov 2021

Government Organization: NC Defense Technology Transition

Description: Because whoever can see, understand and act first will win!!

The purpose of this notice is to determine the interest of having the National Security Innovation Capital (NSIC) make a presentation to the DEFTECH network.  To be clear, NSIC only applies to start-ups with dual-use (military & commercial) hardware technologies that are at least TRL 3 that are on track to sell their product and need capital to assist with the manufacturing process.  If you are in this category and are interested in hearing from NSIC, pls respond NLT 29 Nov to lewisd@ncmbc.usburtonr@ncmbc.us and provide a short paragraph of your hardware technology. If we have enough interest, DEFTECH will arrange an NSIC discussion with its director on 10 Dec.

NSIC is focused on next-generation hardware technologies for application to connected mobile and edge systems that support distributed operations in land, sea, air, and space domains.

NSIC seeks to engage domestic start-ups that are developing dual-use hardware products with both commercial and defense applications. Start-ups may span early stage (at least proof of concept-TRL3 or higher) to late-stage (pre-production). If your start-up has not at least achieved TRL3 and/or is already mass-producing and shipping customer-ready products, you do not qualify.
