BIOGRAPHY

Jaycie Beam joined the North Carolina Military Business Center in July 2024 serving as the Program Support Specialist for the DEFTECH team.

Beam’s responsibilities include event planning, communication and outreach, networking, social media management, research and development support for the DEFTECH team for the NCMBC.

Prior to joining the team, Beam brings in experience working for several small businesses and working for the North Carolina Small Business Center Network (SBCN). She provided local small business support through market research, networking, and professional development opportunities.

Beam holds an Associates of Science from Catawba Valley Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Finance, and a Master of Business Administration in Innovation and Change Management from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina.
