The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC):

  • Is aware that many NC businesses are retooling to produce, or are increasing production and stock of personal protective equipment (PPE) to meet the needs of our nation during the COVID-19 crisis
  • Recognizes the need to document this production capacity and to direct producers to federal agencies that procure PPE
  • Has been contacted by military commands and installations that are interested in obtaining PPE, particularly for non-medical personnel deemed essential and required to work through the COVID-19 crisis

Documentation:  To meet these needs, the NCMBC has created a simple online form for PPE producers to document their production, stock, and distribution capacity of various PPE products.  Even if you have already contacted the NCMBC informally about your capacity, the NCMBC needs and encourages you to document your capacity by completing the online form below.  The NCMBC will coordinate this documentation with data from other sources will use it to inform military commands and installations about PPE available in North Carolina for immediate and sustained acquisition.  Please complete the form at the link below:

Opportunities:  This documentation process does not replace the opportunity for your business to respond to specific federal acquisition opportunities located at beta.Sam.gov or http://www.ncmbc.us/covid-19-resources, or as distributed to you automatically by www.MatchForce.org.  These include particular contract opportunities from FEMA (https://beta.sam.gov/opp/55128a11655b4434b1141ae2a63abff7/view) and other federal agencies and military services.  This NC documentation also does not replace the opportunity to document your PPE production and distribution capacity with the DoD Joint Acquisition Task Force at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdat2IJnf6oIj9yoPsauXI7Ua21LsiZpJCQPuHElX0wWG2GqA/viewform
